The cure location – Bad Herrenalb

In the northern part of the Black Forest, in the county of Calw in Baden-Württemberg, the city of Bad Herrenalb is located.  Bad Herrenalb does have 7500 habitants and a beautiful little river - the Alb.

The history of Bad Herrenalb goes back to a cistercian abbey surrounded by settlements in the year 1149. In 1841 the first cold water sanatory was founded which developed to a sanatory for nervous disorder later on.  Today there is a huge range of public institutions for health and wellness as well as various sport activity possibilities.

The cure location – The Spa Hotel

The GeoKur will take place in the spa hotel and the surrounding spa gardens. The spa gardens is an oasis of flowers and trees of the northern hemisphere.

You can walk along the Alb or relax on one of the park benches.  In  the western area of the spa gardens the spa hotel and a beautiful fountain can be found.
